this series of posters is based on a voice recording in which the words “Wittener Tage für Neue Kammermusik” are spoken. the resulting waveform was graphically transformed using various digital tools: distorted, altered, colored, and modeled in 3D. in keeping with the experimental approach of new chamber music, the visual counterpart was also treated in a process-oriented and playful manner—searching, exploring, free.
timeless, classic typography provides a formal counterbalance: arranged in a modern way and fragmented in an unconventional manner in places—as a design counterpart to the tension between structure and dissolution.
